Imphal: Three militants belonging to two different outfits have been nabbed from three districts in Manipur, an Assam Rifles official said on Sunday.

The militants were rounded up by Manipur police and troops of Somsai, Loktak and Modi battalions in three separate operations on Saturday from Ukhrul, Bishnupur and Chandel districts.

Based on specific inputs, troops of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police had launched these operations which led to the apprehensions.

The apprehended insurgents were handed over to Imphal East, Kumbi and Machi Police Station for further investigation.
