Imphal: Manipur’s Commerce and Industry Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh Friday appealed to all the government employees not to approach any officials for transfer and posting purposes.
The Minister said that the state government will implement a new transfer and posting policy and added that government employees must stay in one place of posting for a maximum of three years only.
Participating as chief guest at a Block Health Mela, organised by District Health Society, Imphal East Friday, Biswajit said that the Biren-led BJP government has taken up various welfare schemes for the people of Manipur.
“Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Viswas, Sabka Prayas are necessary components for making a new India according to the vision of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The Health Sector is also given due importance by the government, he contended.
He sought public cooperation for the successful implementation of the schemes. New benefits should reach the needy people, he added.
It may be noted that health melas have been conducted across the state as a part of the 100 Days Action Plan Programme of Manipur government
