London: The UK Defence Ministry has said Russian naval forces have blocked the Black Sea coast along Ukraine.
“Russian naval forces have established a distant blockade of Ukraine’s Black Sea coast, effectively isolating Ukraine from international maritime trade,” the Ministry tweeted on Sunday.
“Russian naval forces are also continuing missile strikes against targets throughout Ukraine,” it added.
The Ministry said Russia also conducted one amphibious landing in the Sea of Azov.
“Russia has already conducted one amphibious landing in the Sea of Azov and could look to conduct further such operations in the coming weeks,” the Ministry said.
