IAF brings back 798 Indians

New Delhi: With the fourth C-17 Globemaster aircraft landing at Hindan near here on Thursday with 180 Indians from Ukraine, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has so far flown home 798 passengers from Hungary, Poland and Romania. Most Indians brought back to the country are students.

On Thursday, the IAF will operate three more flights to locations in the neighbourhood of Ukraine. Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt was at the tarmac to welcome the passengers.

Earlier, three C-17 aircraft landed at the Hindan air base from Bucharest, Budapest and Rzeszow between Wednesday night and Thursday morning where the Indians reached from Ukraine.
