Kolkata: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav Monday said they would support Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool Congress in 2021 elections.
Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav after meeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at her official chamber in Nabanna this afternoon told reporters they would lend support to Mamata Didi in the Assembly election in West Bengal.
“We will lend support to Mamata Banerjee wherever needed. The priority is to stop the BJP at all costs. To save the country from those who are bent on destroying the country,” said Yadav.
“We must do everything necessary to save the culture, heritage, languages and literature of the country,” Yadav said.
“The biggest thing is support and courage, Tejashwi bhai is fighting, so we are fighting and vice versa.” said, Banerjee.
She said the BJP would not last long in Bihar, neither the party would win in Bengal.
