Vehicle stolen at Assam recovers at Manipur’s Kangpokpi district

Imphal: Manipur Police on Monday managed to recover a vehicle stolen from Assam.

Kangpokpi police said an information was received regarding a stolen vehicle (Yoda DI Pick-Up) bearing Regn. No. AS-01-NC-4483 (white) owned by one Manuel Haque (30) of Kukar Par, BarpetaDistrict of Assam reportedly driven towards Manipur.

Based on the information received, a team of Kangpokpi PS led by its OC Inspt. Henminthang Kipgen and his escorts swung into action and after a thorough search at suspected areas in andaround Kangpokpi, recovered the said vehicle at Kangpokpi Ward No. 1 area. 

The same will be handed over to concern PS after completing necessary formalities.
