Patna: The Jashn- e Tika award was conferred on Thursday by Health Minister Mangal Pandey for outstanding contribution in vaccination against COVID-19.
The health minister said that doctors, nurses and other social workers from district to block-level were being awarded for their excellent contribution in carrying out the vaccination process.
He said that in the first phase the awards were conferred upon on October 4 and the selection process was further continued and awards would be given after the process was over.
Mr Pandey said that such awards would inspire others too to contribute in the vaccination process.
