Raipur: Chhattisgarh’s Janata Congress legislator Devwrat Singh – who was representing Khairagarh – has died following cardiac arrest, family sources said on Thursday.
Singh, who was in his early fifties and a diabetic, breathed his last late Wednesday while being rushed to hospital. The funeral will be conducted later Thursday with full state honours.
Singh represented Rajnandgaon in the 14th Lok Sabha and was elected four times to the Assembly from Khairagarh.
