Nagaland records 60 new Covid-19 cases

The state currently has 491 active cases, out of which 382 are asymptomatic, 78 are mild symptomatic, 8 are moderate symptomatic on oxygen

Kohima: In the latest COVID-19 situation in Nagaland, the number has increased to 60 new cases, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases to 30,840 so far and with one more death, the death toll rose to 653.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 60 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from six districts of Nagaland with 21 cases in Tuensang, 20 cases in Dimapur, 12 in Kohima, five in Phek, one in Mokokchung and one in Peren, taking the total caseload to 30840.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, 37 patients who had previously tested positive for the virus, recovered on Saturday, with 14 patients from Dimapur, 10 from Mokokchung, six from Tuensang, five from Kohima and two from Phek, taking the number of such cases to 28,752.

The state currently has 491 active cases, out of which 382 are asymptomatic, 78 are mild symptomatic, 8 are moderate symptomatic on oxygen, 13 have severe symptoms and are on oxygen support, 4 are in the ICU without ventilator support, and 6 are in the ICU on ventilator. With one more patient in Dimapur, pushed the death to toll to 653.
