Nagaland records 44 new COVID+ cases, 4 deaths

Kohima: The new cases of COVID-19 in Nagaland yesterday decreased to 44 new cases, which increased the total number of corona virus-infected cases rose to 29,195 and with four more deaths, the toll rose to 605.

According to a Nagaland Health Department bulletin today, among the 44 fresh COVID cases yesterday, the new cases were detected from six districts of Nagaland with 15 cases in Mokokchung, 14 cases in Kohima, 11 in Dimapur, two in Peren and one in Longleng and one in Mon, taking the total caseload to 29195.

On the recovery of COVID-19 patients in the State, the recovery patients saw a total of 111 recoveries of patients, which has totalled the recoveries rose to 26,601.

Nagaland now has 1,153 active cases. With four more deaths, two in Dimapur, one in Kohima and one in Mokokchung, pushed the death toll to 605.
