Imphal: Wangkhem Assembly constituency MLA Keisham Meghachandra handed over a huge amount of relief materials to the people of his constituency on Tuesday.
The relief materials which included edible oil (8,000 litres), potatoes (30,000 kg), peanut (15,000) and salt (8,000kg) will be distributed to nearly 15,000 households/kitchens of 32 Wangkhem AC in view of the hardship faced by the people due to curfew/lockdown being imposed across the state due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Wangkhem Block Congress Committee and Relief Committee will deliver house to house of all the 15,000 households of the Assembly constituency, said the office of the MLA.
