Nagaland records 241 new COVID cases

The total number of cases has now reached 18, 076, out of which the active caseload is 4100, while 13,195 people have recovered till date.

Kohima: Nagaland recorded 241 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours, taking the state’s cumulative tally to 18,076.

Nagaland Health Minister Pangnyu Phom said on Sunday that among the fresh 241 cases, the highest, ie 103 were recorded in Kohima, followed by 102 in Dimapur, 14 in Mokokchung, 10 in Longleng, five in Zunheboto, three in Phek, one in Mon, one in Kiphire, one in Tuensang and one in Peren.

The state saw 108 more patients recovering today, which comprises of 58 in Dimapur, 36 in Kohima, six in Mon, four in Longleng, three in Phek and one in Mokokchung, Phom said.

The total number of cases has now reached 18, 076, out of which the active caseload is 4100, while 13,195 people have recovered till date.

The state has seen a total of 198 Covid-19 related deaths till now.
