5.8-magnitude quake hits 171 km WNW of Neiafu, Tonga – USGS

Beijing: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted 171 km WNW of Neiafu, Tonga at 0400 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 247.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.96 degrees south latitude and 175.43 degrees west longitude.
