Kangpokpi: The District Administration Kangpokpi Friday organised the 4th Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit with around 40 line departments at Hoikhonei Multi-purpose Hall, Thangkanphai Village, Saikul Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district from 9 am onwards.
Deputy Commissioner Kengoo Zuringla addressed the grievances of the general public and guided them. The Deputy Commissioner along with the officials of the SDO Saikul led by Sub Divisional Officer Bungba Maibam Khuman ensured for the smooth functioning of the event.
As part of the event, the officers and representatives of various Government departments attended to the applications of grievances related to concerned departments. Covid-19 vaccination session apart from delivery of other normal health services was also provided to the general public who attended the event today.
On the other hand, various government departments delivered and distributed possible services and benefits of various schemes to the public during the event. Eatable items made from forest produces were displayed to the general public and water pumps, saplings, cards of various schemes were also distributed during the event.
