3 Kuki militants nabbed for killing civilians in Manipur

Police said they were allegedly involved in killing three civilians including one minor and injuring two other persons at B Gamnom village on October 12 last.

Imphal: Three suspected cadres of Kuki National Front (Nehlun) allegedly involved in the killing of three persons at B Gamnom village in Kangpokpi district on October 12 were arrested by Manipur Police and Assam Rifles personnel.

A joint operation was launched last night which continued till Monday which led to the arrest of Seigoulun Singsit (20), Henminlun Misao (29), Hentinseh Singsit (30), police said.

On preliminary examination, Saigonlun Singsit disclosed that he is an active cadre of KNF. Police recovered one 9mm Pistol loaded with a magazine with 5 (9mm) ammunition and another one .32 pistol, and a loaded magazine.
