Imphal: There was no report of any Covid related death in Manipur in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Tuesday. During the same period, 15 persons (13 general population and 2 CAPF) test coronavirus positive while 13 persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 13 persons from the general population who tested positive, 10 of them are from Imphal West and one each from Bishnupur, Chandel and Thoubal. Altogether, 1,416 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 1.1 %.
Meanwhile, 13 persons recovered and were discharged, four from home isolation, six from CCCs and three from JNIMS. The recovery rate in Manipur now stands at 98.26 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,747 out of which 1,23,565 have recovered, leaving 180 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on December 27, 2021, is 1,886, the cumulative number of doses administered is 23,01,450 (1st dose 13,20,657, 2nd dose 9,86,793).
