Imphal: A team of NAB-Police Station arrested one drug peddler from Nongbram Mayai Leikai near Community Hall, Imphal East and seized 14 Kg and 800 gm (14.8 kg) approx of Opium from her possession on March 18.
The person has been identified Lalam Haokip (36 yrs) wife of Lelen Haokip of Saichang Village, Saikul Sub-Division, Yairipok, Kangpokpi district.
In this regard a case has been registered at NAB- Police Station.
Meanwhile, a team of Kakching commandos arrested two drug paddler namely, Satminlun Kipgen (24 years) son of Zangkholen of T Nampao village, Chakpikarong, Chandel district and Seikholen Haokip (19 yrs) son of Nghankhojang of Khonomphai village, Moreh from Langthabal Khunou near Public Hand Pump and seized 69 soap cap of heroin power and one Gypsy without Regd. No. from their possession on March 17 at around 8.00 pm.
The arrested persons along with the seized items were handed over to Khongjom Police Station for further legal action. In this regard a case has been registered at Khongjom Police Station.
