1,243 bikers participate in tiranga rally

Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh flagged off around 1,243 bikers from various biker clubs and security forces at Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal East.

Chandel: The second session of the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026 concluded with a certificate distribution programme at the 8th Battalion Manipur Rifles Campus, Leikun, Chandel District, today.

Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister, flagged off the bikers of around 1243 from several biker clubs including participants from various security forces, from Hapta Kangjeibung, Imphal East, earlier this morning.

After a brief halt at Khongjom Gate for regrouping before proceeding towards Chandel, the rally reached the 8th Bn. MR Campus, Leikun, at around 9:45 a.m.

The formal programme commenced with a welcome address by Momoni Doley, Deputy Commissioner, Chandel District.

Dr. IK Muivah, Additional Director General of Police (HR/HG) and the Chairman of the organizing committee, Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally addressing the gathering, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the biker clubs and acknowledged their contribution towards spreading the message of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The participation of bikers from different clubs and security forces reflected a collective commitment towards strengthening the spirit of unity and national pride.

As part of the programme, certificates of participation were distributed to the office bearers of participating biker clubs in recognition of their involvement in the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally 2026.

The Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally was organised by Manipur Police as part of the nationwide campaign to encourage citizens to celebrate the spirit of the Tiranga and promote patriotism, unity and a sense of national pride.

The occasion was also graced by several high ranking police officers.
