Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday paid tributes to former President ‘Bharat Ratna’ Pranab Mukherjee on his 86th birth anniversary.
Yogi tweeted, “Humble tribute to ‘Bharat Ratna’ Pranab Mukherjee Ji, former President of India, simple and easy-going politician, a symbol of purity and hard work.”
During his public career spanning more than four decades, Mukherjee served as the country’s 13th President from 2012 to 2017. In the year 2019, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award.
