Gangtok: World Health Organization has presented 50 Oxygen Concentrators to Sikkim, for facing Coronavirus Pandemic issues. The General Manager of Greenko Energies Pvt limited also donated 20 large medical-grade Oxygen concentrators with 10 litres per minute capacity.
The material was handed over to Minister for Health Dr MK Sharma by Karma C Lepcha,General Manager. He has assured helping with N95 masks and PPE Kits subsequently.
In the meantime, Dr MK Sharma ,Minister Health said a ‘24 hours monitoring room is functioning for the benefit of patients.
They can talk to family members via video conference zoom.’ However this is expected to reduce the tension and gloomy atmosphere.
