Imphal: A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur arrested one suspected drug trafficker namely, Anil Kumar Gupta (49 yrs), son of Ram Gopal Gupta, of 49, Rohiti Tola, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh-243005 from Mantripukhri on August 5, 2021.
About 1 kg. of Brown Sugar was seized from his possession, which was concealed in a white flower pot. It is revealed that the arrested Anil Kumar Gupta is a part of Inter-state drug trafficking gang whose top leader is presently in Uttar Pradesh.
A case has been registered at NAB-PS, Manipur for further investigation and to establish the chain and arrest the associates.
