Basti: Sixteen passengers were injured when a roadways bus was hit by a container truck in Harraiya area of Basti district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Thursday.
Police sources said that the incident took place near Tenua village on national highway when the bus coming from Ayodhya was hit by the container truck coming from the opposite direction. “16 passengers were injured in the incident and were taken to the community health center in Harraiya,” they said.
Police sources said that six passengers, who sustained serious injuries, were later admitted to the district hospital.
