Imphal: Manipur police apprehended one active member of the banned militant outfit, UNLF, from his own house at Kongpal Chingangbam Leikai, Imphal East district.
The cadre has been identified as Oinam Shanjoy Kumar, 44, son of Oinam Ibohal Singh.

He has been demanding and extorting money from the general public from various government officials in and around valley areas, police said.
One Honda Activa, blue in colour bearing Regn. No. MN01AF 2670 along with one mobile handset and one Aadhaar card were also seized from him, according to a press note from the PRO Manipur Police.
