Agartala: Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal on Monday said that the massive support of people for BJP in Tripura indicated the party would form the government again as the wave of BJP is unstoppable.
The Union Minister accompanied Tripura’s Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma for filing his nomination papers in Charilam constituency of Sepahijala district followed by a mammoth rally.
Sharing pictures on Twitter, the union minister wrote, “Wonderful glimpses from the nomination filing of Hon’ble Dy CM of Tripura Shri @Jishnu_Devvarma ji. The wave of @BJP4India is unstoppable”.
He further wrote that he is glad to accompany DyCM during his nomination filling.
“Glad to accompany and offer my best wishes to Hon’ble Dy CM of Tripura Shri @Jishnu_Devvarma ji, as he files his nomination from Charilam LAC. The massive support for @BJP4India shows the huge love of the people towards Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji”.
Later, Dev Varma stated that the one and only agenda of his party for contesting the election is to usher in more development for the people of the state.
“BJP never does politics for benefits, we do politics for development. Our main agenda for election is more development works for people following the path of PM Modi”, said Jishnu.
Slamming the previous communist government, Dev Varma said they neglected Charilam Assembly Constituency but now the BJP government is working on its development.
