Imphal: Two persons tested Covid-19 positive, two recovered and no Covid related death was reported in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Tuesday in Manipur, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room. The recovery rate now stands at 98.64%.
The two persons (1 male, 1 female) who tested positive are from Imphal West and Bishnupur. Of the two persons who recovered one was under home isolation and the other was admitted to JNIMS.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,315 (General Population — 25,881 and Central Security Personnel — 3,434). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,918 (General Population — 25,489 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 24 (general population 23 and CAPF 1).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 15, is 1072 and the cumulative vaccination number is 77127, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 30735 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
