Imphal: Two militants were nabbed by Manipur Police and troops in two separate incidents.
Assam Rifles official on Saturday said Manipur Police, Keithelmanbi and Khoupum Battalion Assam Rifles apprehended insurgents of proscribed groups UNLF and KYKL in Thoubal and Bishnupur district respectively.
Based on specific input from reliable sources, troops of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police launched joint operations on Friday leading to these apprehensions.
The apprehended insurgents were handed over to Nangpok Sekmai and Bishnupur Police Station for further investigation.
