Imphal: Assam Rifles personnel seized Myanmar-origin illegal liquor and suspected contraband at Aina, Churachandpur district, an official said on Monday.
The Assam Rifles official said a truck carrying drugs and liquor from Myanmar was seized on Sunday along with two persons identified as Siamsing Guite and Asupjamlal Guite of Churachandpur.
The seized items included whisky, beer cans, local liquor, and one kg of suspected narcotics powder. All Items were seized and handed over to Police Station Churachandpur.
