Ambassa: In a bid to take stock of the administrative preparedness to combat COVID situation and also to implement strict measures to curb rocketing price hike, the Tripura Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Sports Manoj Kanti Deb held a review meeting in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai here today when he urged the rank and file to follow the COVID protocols strictly.
Manoj held the review meeting mainly to take stock of the administrative preparedness to combat any emergency or untoward situation resulting from COVID pandemic.
Besides, he also enquired of the latest position of different on going projects sponsored by both the Central and the State governments.
He instructed the officials to measure regular and strict measure to check the rocketing price of essential commodities in different local markets.
Later the minister said, “The state government is committed to serve the people during this pandemic situation. At the same time the pace of development must not be ceased. All the related issues are discussed and further course of action is decided”.
He further said, “Here I would like to request the rank and file to adhere to the COVID protocols strictly so hat we may have an upper hand in the fight”. In the meeting, District Magistrate (DM) Govekar Mayur Ratilal, top officials from different departments and subdivisional officials remained present among others.
