Tripura HC issues fresh Covid19 guidelines

Tripura has recorded 109 Covid19 cases in the last six days and the positivity rate remains at 4.05 percent.

Agartala: With the sudden surge in Covid19 positive incidences in the state, the Tripura High Court on Monday issued fresh guidelines for the courts to prevent the spread of the viral disease.

The order said everyone present at the court premises has to strictly maintain prescribed physical distancing norms and follow all health advisories issued by the Central/State Government from time to time in letter and spirit.

In addition, adherence to all safety measures, wearing of face mask in a proper manner, cleaning of hands at regular intervals using soap/sanitizer, etc. are compulsory for every person, be it a member of the registry, a lawyer, or a litigant.

No person with symptoms of fever shall be allowed to enter the High Court premises under any circumstances, the order said adding district courts including family courts shall ensure that all safety norms and health advisories issued by the Central/State Government from time to time are implemented and/or strictly adhered to.

In particular, the district judge/judge, and the family court have to make proper arrangements for providing hand wash/sanitizer to the lawyers, litigants, and the court officials at all entry points and ensure strict maintenance of social distancing, wearing of face masks in the proper manner, etc. within the court premises, it added.

A number of doctors and health workers have been infected with Covid19 in a week and the report said the patients are having mild symptoms of influenza.
