Imphal: Governor La Ganesan led the people of Manipur in offering tribute to the Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on Monday.
A wreath-laying ceremony at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi was held at GM hall. Ministers, MLAs also attended the function.

Martyrs’ Day is observed on the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who successfully led the freedom movement.
The 75th Death Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was also observed at the Congress office.
