Tree plantation drive taken up by Ball of Fire Division

Imphal: To commemorate the solemn occasion of 75th  independence Day, a plantation drive was organised at various military stations under the aegis of the Ball of Fire Division.

GOC along with other officers, JCOs and OR, families & veterans planted a variety of saplings.

The event was organised at various stations to include Tawang, Bomdila, Tenga, Rupa, Dahung and Thakurbari.  Over 1000 saplings have been planted by the troops and their families, as per a press note from the Tezpur based Defence PRO, Lt Col Pande.
