Imphal: Halley Laithangbam, India’s one of the top models and renowned entrepreneur, was found dead at his Keishamthong Haobam Marak, Imphal West, residence here on Tuesday.
His lifeless body was found in his bed by his family members early in the morning, sources said.
Born to Laithangbam Shantikumar and Laithangbam Ongbi Megharani Devi, Halley represented India on a global platform for Mr International 2015 after being crowned the prestigious title Mr International India 2015.
Before he entered into the world of modeling, he worked for six years in Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore after completing MBA.
He also ran a successful models’ grooming studio (Halley’s Models’ Grooming Studio), and a well known restaurant ‘Helley’s Bistro’ in Imphal. He was the Co-founder and Director “Miss Manipur Organisation”.
“Deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the sudden demise of Halley Laithangbam. May his soul rest in peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family. RIP Bro… Yaam Pamuida,” Keisham Yaiphaba, a friend of the deceased, wrote on social media platform, Facebook.
