Hyderabad: Thunderstorms accompanied with lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra pradesh & Yanam and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the same situation is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places, at many places and at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.
Rainfall occurred at few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours.
Southwest monsoon has been weak over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and normal over Rayalaseema, the report added.
