Three women train passengers drugged by miscreants, later robbed gold ornaments

Thiruvananthapuram: Three women passengers were drugged by miscreants and they later robbed their gold ornaments in the Nizamuddin-Thiruvananthapuram Central Super Fast train on Sunday.
Three women including a mother and daughter told the railway police that they were robbed of 35 sovereigns of gold ornaments and two mobile phones.

Vijayalakshmi and her daughter boarded the train from Agra to reach Chengannur to attend the marriage of their relative. Another woman, Kousalya, boarded from Coimbatore to get down at Aluva.

All of them could not get down to their respective destinations as they fainted soon after consuming the food mixed with drugs. Later, they were taken to a hospital here by the Railway police.

Meanwhile, the police released the photo of the suspect, Agzar Bagaha, sources said.
