Three new Covid cases recorded in Arunachal

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Covid-19 caseload rose to 16,836 with the detection of three fresh infections in the last 24 hours.

As per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services, the new cases were reported from Namsai. They are primary contacts of positive cases detected earlier.

Of the three new cases, two are asymptomatic and one symptomatic.

On the other hand, a patient was discharged following recovery from the virus, taking the total recoveries to 16,775. The recovery rate is over 99 per cent.

With the detection of the three cases, the active tally rose to five.

The state has recorded 56 fatalities so far.
