Three leaders join Manipur Congress

Imphal: In a major boost to the dejected Manipur Congress, three leaders from different political parties have joined the grand old party in a simple ceremony held here on Monday.

Gopen Thongam, former NEIDP candidate, Keirao Assembly constituency, former LJP spokesperson Ningombam Ibohal Meitie, Kumbi and former RPI convener Phandom Dhanabir Singh of Kumbi joined the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee in the presence of party president N Loken Singh, CLP leader Okram Ibobi Singh, MPCC Working President K Meghachandra Singh, I Hemochandra, K Ranjit and other senior members of the party.
