Noney: As part of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign, Noney ADM Stiff Khapudang launched the program on Tuesday at the DC Office Complex in Longmai. The event began with a Swachhata Hi Seva pledge, led by Khapudang, which was taken by all attendees.
The highlight of the day’s event was a mass cleanliness drive in and around the Noney DC Office premises, spearheaded by the PHED Noney, which served as the nodal department for the district.
The launch was attended by ZEO Noney Xavier Longmei, CMO Dr. Zianthuilung Kamei, Executive Engineer PHED Thanchui Panmei, and District Cooperative Officer D. Dongaingam. Various SDOs, SDCs, DLOs, NGO members, and staff from the DC Office also participated in the function.
In the coming days, the campaign will feature a range of activities including art exhibitions, wall painting, marathons, sports leagues, human chain formations, selfie points, agricultural practices, quizzes, door-to-door awareness initiatives, and youth engagement programs.
The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign will run from September 17 to October 2, 2024.
