Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission Programme held at Manipur’s Pherzawl

The programme was organised under the aegis of the Pherzawl District Administration and Prabhari Officers for Pherzawl District with active involvement of village chiefs and CSOs.

Pherzawl: As part of the State Government’s effort to ensure development and bring governance to people’s doorsteps, a Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission programme under 100 Action Points for First 100 Days’ was held at Pherzawl Community Hall, Pherzawl District Headquarter on April 19, 2022.

The programme was organised under the aegis of the Pherzawl District Administration and Prabhari Officers for Pherzawl District with active involvement of village chiefs and CSOs. 

During the programme, Deputy Commissioner Joseph Pauline Kamson, said the Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission is a new concept and that development comes at the grassroots level to improve the social, cultural and economic well-being of families, communities and societies within the district.

He informed that teachers of ZEO & ADCC have been roped in as enumerators for the collection of preliminary data and an economic index survey exercise will be conducted in 53 Villages including Hamlets to ensure the initiative taken by the Government is translated into action. 

In today’s programme, a District Meeyamgi Numit was held by the District Administration with village chiefs and representatives of different villages to address various issues pertaining in the District. Meanwhile, Block Health Mela was organised on April 18 at Thanlon Community Hall,.

Apart from the two Prabhari Officers, Haotinkhup Haokip,  and Shri. Ngangbam Roman Singh, the programme was attended by the DLOs.
