Sikkim signs MOU with CSIR-IHBT

The Memorandum of Understanding was drawn up by Minister for Agriculture, Lok Nath Sharma and Sanjay Kumar, Director of the Institute at Palampur, Himachal Pradesh. 'The team led by the Minister studied Aquaponics, Hydroponics and Aeroponic culture of farming.

Gangtok: The Sikkim Government and C.S.I.R – Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology on Friday signed a bilateral cooperation pact under which the CSIR would support the cultivation of saffron, aromatic crops and asafoetida in the state.
