Gangtok: Sikkim reported 151 new cases of novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours, while one person succumbed in the same period.
The fresh additions have taken the case tally to 19209 whereas the death toll soared to 291. Till now 15,917 have been cured and discharged amounting a recovery rate of 83.64 per cent.
The state is currently having 2751 active cases.
Notably, Sikkim is the least populous state of India, having 6,10,577 population according to the 2011 census.
