Gangtok: Sikkim on Saturday reported 273 new COVID-19 cases pushing the tally to 14,907, a health department bulletin said.
The death toll in the Himalayan state rose to 247 after four more patients died of coronavirus, the bulletin said.
Sikkim at present has 3,831 active cases.
While 10,616 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 213 others have migrated out of the state.
East Sikkim district registered 183 new positive cases, followed by 54 in South Sikkim, 31 in West Sikkim and 5 in North Sikkim.
The state tested 1,695 samples for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of such examinations to 1,17,336, the bulletin said.
