Gangtok: The Sikkim Chief Electoral Officer, on Friday held a meeting with different political parties and shared with them a list of objections and claims received during the Special Summary Revision of the electoral rolls.
The draft revision,has been done with reference to January 1.2023. The final roll would be handed over on January 5, ‘said the CEO.
Ruling Sikkim Krantikari Morcha, opposition Sikkim Democratic Front, Hamro Sikkim Party and Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee were present in the meeting, where the draft integrated roll for Special Summary Revision,was shared.
According to the CEO, the list of objections and claims include 2838 additions – ,1283 deletions and 2984 corrections.
