Sikkim Assembly passes Supplementary Demands for Grants of Rs 30455L

The bill along with the appropriation bill was passed without any discussion.

Gangtok: The Sikkim Assembly on Friday passed the First Supplementary Demands for grants for 2021-22 amounting to Rs 30455.34 Lakh after it was presented by the Chief Minister PS Tamang, who also holds the Finance portfolio.

The bill along with the appropriation bill was passed without any discussion.

Tamang also introduced the Sikkim Police amendment bill, which would be discussed and passed in the next session.

Another bill introduced during the day on Reorganization of Districts by Minister for Land Revenue Kunga Nima Lepcha, will also be taken up later.

The House was later adjourned Sine Die by Speaker LB Das.
