Imphal: In recognition of their significant contribution in the implementation of CCTNS/ ICJS Project in the state during the year 2020, Sub-Inspector Kh Sanjoy Singh of Imphal East now attached to CCTNS/ CID(CB) and HC P Budhi Singh of JIribam PS, Jiribam were awarded with certificates and mementos by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), MHA, New Delhi.Â
The Certificates and Mementos were handed over to the awardees by LM Khaute, Director General of Police, Manipur on Saturday at the State Police Headquarter in the presence of senior officers of the department, said a press note issued by the PRO, Manipur police, W Basu.
Manipur is among the 18 states/UTs in the country and is the only state in the Northeast which achieved the benchmark set by NCRB as the qualifying criterion for sending recommendation for the individual award to NCRB/MHA i.e. completion of an average 60% of the project activities as per CCTNS Pragati Dashboard in 2020.
CCTNS is a Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) of Govt. of India and aims at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of policing through IT-enabled-state-of-the-art tracking system around ‘Investigation of crime and detection of criminals’, the press note added.
