Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived on a special BSF aircraft on Sunday on a one-day visit to Hyderabad.
Prominent state BJP leaders including the party’s Telangana unit President Bandi Sanjay, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, and others received Mr Shah at the Begumpet airport.
Soon after his arrival, he drove to the more than a century-old Ujjaini Mahnkali temple in Secunderabad to offer special pooja and would also visit the house of a local BJP worker.
After his stay at a hotel in Begumpet till late afternoon, he will leave on a BSF helicopter for the bye-election-bound Munugode to address a public meeting of the BJP.
He will have dinner at Novotel Hotel near Shamshabad airport and also hold a meeting with BJP leaders before leaving for Delhi.
