Bishnupur: As part of Seva Jyoti Yatra 2026, the District Administration, Bishnupur today organised a Bike Rally starting from INA Auditorium Hall, Moirang, and culminating at the Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.
The Bike Rally was flagged off by MLA Nambol AC Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh, MLA Moirang AC Thongam Shanti Singh and MLA Kumbi AC Sanasam Premchandra Singh. Deputy Commissioner, Bishnupur, Smt. Pooja Elangbam received the bikers at the Mini Secretariat Complex upon completion of the rally.
The Seva Jyoti Yatra was organised as part of the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026, which commenced on 17th September 2026 to commemorate 25 years of public service of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Prior to the Bike Rally, a programme was held at the INA Auditorium Hall, Moirang, where more than 1,000 public gathered and virtually joined the address of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha held in New Delhi.
The gathering including MLA Nambol AC Thounaojam Basanta Kumar Singh, MLA Moirang AC Thongam Shanti Singh, MLA Kumbi AC Sanasam Premchandra Singh and Deputy Commissioner Pooja Elangbam, also participated in the Viksit Bharat Pledge which was administered from New Delhi.
Through the pledge, the participants resolved to dream big, work hard and continuously strive for excellence in every field of life; use knowledge, innovation, technology and creativity to transform challenges into opportunities; uphold the values of integrity, responsibility and service; contribute positively to the community and the nation; perform their Kartavya inspired by the spirit of Amrit Kaal; and work with Jan Bhagidari and Sabka Prayas, among other commitments towards building a Viksit Bharat.
