Septuagenarian, his son murdered in Hyderabad over property dispute

The assailants barged into Narasimhamurthy's house at about 0530 hours and murdered him and also his son Srinivas with sharp-edged weapons when the latter attempted to save his father.

The assailants barged into Narasimhamurthy’s house at about 0530 hours and murdered him and also his son Srinivas with sharp-edged weapons when the latter attempted to save his father.

Both died on the spot.

They also threatened the maidservant, who was present there, with a knife.

Eyewitnesses said that a person wearing a blue T-shirt fled from Gandhi statue to the main road of Uppal.

On information, police who reached the spot with the clues team registered a case and took up an investigation.
