Los Angeles: ‘Ray Donavan’ actor Mary Mara has passed at the age of 61, her manager Craig Dorfman said.
CNN quoted him as saying, “Mary was one of the finest actresses I ever met. I still remember seeing her onstage in 1992 in ‘Mad Forest’ off-Broadway. She was electric, funny, and a true individual. Everyone loved her. She will be missed.”
The New York State Police said in a statement that the officers had responded to a call on Sunday at around 8:10 am (local time) of a “possible drowning”.
They said that the troopers and Cape Vincent Fire and Ambulance “discovered a female deceased in the St. Lawrence River.”
“The preliminary investigation suggests the victim drowned while swimming,” according to the police.
However, no foul play has been suspected behind the “Mr. Saturday Night” actor’s death.
