Ludhiana: An inter-state narcotic network was busted when Jammu & Kashmir Police and Punjab Police, in a joint operation on Wednesday, apprehended one drug smuggler from Mullanpur Dakha and seized Rs 4.94 crores along with 38 fake vehicle number plates and one revolver.

Police said Manjit Singh is one of the key accused in the 30 kg of heroin recently recovered in Jammu.

The police also said the investigations are ongoing to establish backward and forward linkages.
