Sriharikota (AP):India’s workhorse launch vehicle PSLV-C54 carrying the 1,117 kg Earth Observation Satellite-06 EOS-06 and eight nano satellites lifts off from the SHAR Range here at 1156 hrs on Saturday.
After a smooth 24-hr countdown, the 44.m tall XL version of PSLV, in its 56th flight, took off majestically from the First Launch Pad, belching orange fumes and with a rumble that shook the earth.
